Welcome to eCabs. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the eCabs website (e-cabs.gr) and our services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Definitions

  • "eCabs" or "we": the company providing transportation services
  • "Customer" or "you": the person using our services
  • "Services": transportation services and related services we provide
  • "Website": the e-cabs.gr website and all related platforms
  • "Booking": the transportation service order

3. Services

3.1 Service Description

eCabs provides the following services:

  • Taxi services and private transfers
  • Airport transfers to/from airports
  • Port transfers to/from ports
  • Day trips and sightseeing tours
  • Customized routes

3.2 Service Areas

Our services are available in the following areas:

  • Crete (entire island)
  • Mykonos
  • Santorini

4. Bookings

4.1 Booking Process

You can make a booking through:

  • Our website
  • Phone communication
  • WhatsApp or Viber
  • Email

4.2 Booking Confirmation

You will receive confirmation of your booking via email or SMS. The booking is considered final only after confirmation from us.

4.3 Booking Requirements

To complete a booking, you must provide:

  • Full name
  • Contact details (phone, email)
  • Pickup point and destination
  • Date and time
  • Number of passengers
  • Special requirements (if any)

5. Prices and Payments

5.1 Pricing

Prices are determined based on route, distance, duration and vehicle type. All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash (in Euros)
  • Credit/Debit cards
  • Bank transfer (for advance payments)
  • Online payment through secure platform

5.3 Advance Payment

For certain services (such as day trips), a deposit of 20-50% may be required to confirm the booking.

5.4 Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Waiting beyond the agreed time
  • Excessive luggage
  • Night hours (00:00 - 06:00)
  • Special holidays
  • Tolls and parking

6. Cancellations and Modifications

6.1 Cancellation by Customer

  • More than 24 hours before: Full refund
  • 12-24 hours before: 50% refund
  • Less than 12 hours before: No refund
  • No-show: No refund

6.2 Cancellation by eCabs

We reserve the right to cancel a booking in cases of force majeure (weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, etc.) with full refund.

6.3 Modifications

You can modify your booking free of charge up to 12 hours before the scheduled time, subject to availability.

7. Customer Responsibilities

7.1 Behavior

The customer undertakes to:

  • Behave with respect towards the driver and vehicle
  • Comply with safety rules (seat belt, etc.)
  • No smoking in the vehicle
  • No consumption of alcohol or substances
  • Not cause damage to the vehicle

7.2 Luggage

Each passenger is entitled to one suitcase and one hand luggage. For additional luggage, please inform us during booking.

7.3 Minors

Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult. Child seats are available upon request during booking.

Important: We reserve the right to refuse service to customers who are visibly intoxicated, aggressive or do not comply with our terms.

8. eCabs Responsibilities

8.1 Obligations

eCabs commits to:

  • Provide clean and well-maintained vehicles
  • Employ professional, licensed drivers
  • Meet pickup schedules
  • Have insurance coverage for all vehicles
  • Respect customer privacy

8.2 Liability Limitations

eCabs is not responsible for:

  • Delays due to traffic conditions
  • Delays due to force majeure
  • Loss of personal items left in the vehicle
  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Missed flights or connections (unless the delay is due to our fault)

9. Lost Items

If you forget something in the vehicle, contact us immediately. We will try to locate your item, but we cannot guarantee its recovery. Lost items are kept for 30 days.

10. Insurance

All our vehicles have full insurance coverage according to Greek law, which includes third party liability and passenger accidents.

11. Intellectual Property Rights

All website content (text, images, logos, designs) is protected by intellectual property laws and belongs to eCabs. Reproduction is prohibited without written permission.

12. Personal Data Protection

The collection and processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which complies with GDPR.

13. Applicable Law

These terms are governed and interpreted in accordance with Greek law. Any dispute arising is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Greek courts.

14. Dispute Resolution

In case of disagreement, we encourage customers to contact us first for amicable resolution. If no agreement can be reached, you can contact the Consumer Ombudsman or the competent courts.

15. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Modifications take effect from the moment of their publication on the website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
