About Fokos Beach Beach

Fokos Beach is arguably the wildest and most isolated beach in Mykonos, located on the remote northern coast. This long, unspoiled beach stretches over 300 meters and maintains its natural beauty with minimal development. The beach has a mix of sand and pebbles, with incredibly clear waters that can be rough when the Meltemi winds blow. There's only one traditional taverna (Fokos Taverna) serving excellent local food, and a very limited number of sunbeds - most visitors bring their own shade. The journey to Fokos involves a rough dirt road, which helps keep crowds away even in August. The surrounding landscape is barren and dramatic, creating a sense of complete escape. This beach is perfect for those who truly want to disconnect and experience Mykonos as it was decades ago.
