About Kalafatis Beach Beach
Kalafatis Beach is Mykonos' premier destination for water sports enthusiasts. Located on the southeastern coast, this long sandy beach offers excellent conditions for windsurfing, kitesurfing, and other water activities thanks to the Meltemi winds. The beach is home to a professional diving center and multiple water sports schools. Despite being organized with sunbeds, restaurants, and beach bars, Kalafatis maintains a more relaxed, sporty atmosphere compared to the party beaches. The beach is quite long, providing plenty of space even in summer. A small islet called Dragonisi sits offshore, popular with snorkelers and divers. Kalafatis also features good tavernas serving fresh fish and traditional Greek cuisine.
